When you request a facial analysis , your photograph is transmitted to our servers for processing. Our machine learning models analyze your photo in real-time to generate your report. The facial feature data used during this analysis is processed transiently and is not stored—only your original photograph and the resulting numeric scores are retained.

We do not use your photographs or facial data for advertising, third-party sharing, or training purposes.

We do not share, transmit, or upload your data unless you explicitly choose to do so.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our site uses cookies to improve performance and personalize content. You can adjust your browser settings to disable cookies at any time, though some features of the site may not function properly.

  1. Face Data Collection and Storage

Our app provides facial attractiveness analysis features. This section explains how we handle photographs and face-related data.

a. What We Collect:

When you use our rating feature, you voluntarily upload a photograph containing your face.

b. How Face Data Is Processed:

Your photograph is securely transmitted to our servers, where our machine learning models perform facial analysis to generate your attractiveness rating. During this process, facial features are extracted and analyzed in real-time. This facial geometry data (the mathematical representation of your facial features) is used only for the duration of the analysis and is not stored. Once your rating is computed, the facial analysis data is immediately discarded.

c. What We Store:

After analysis is complete, we retain only:

  • Your original photograph (so you can view your report and optionally share it)

  • Your numeric rating results and percentile scores

We do not store facial geometry, biometric templates, or any derived facial feature data.

d. Photo Retention:

Your photographs are retained while your account is active to allow you to access your rating history. If you delete a report, the associated photograph is removed from our servers within 30 days. Upon account deletion, all photographs and rating data are permanently deleted within 30 days.

e. Purpose:

We store your photograph solely to:

  • Display your report within the app

  • Enable the optional sharing feature if you choose to make a report public

  • Allow you to reference your past reports

f. Your Control:

You may delete individual reports at any time. You may also request complete deletion of all data by contacting us at help@areum.app or by deleting your account.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies separately.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
